"Did I love better?" and other better 2024 reflection questions
Some questions that measure heavenly success
Happy New Year!
In response to “How was your 2024?” I’ve been thinking about how to answer that with the right set of questions.
As a leader and someone who thinks about fruitfulness quite a bit, I’m tempted to ask questions such as “What did I accomplish?” or “What did I gain?”.
I’ve been stirred to ask better questions that reflect not our worldly standards but perhaps, a more biblical standard of measure.
I hope these help you as you reflect on 2024 and prepare for 2025
Did I love God more at the end of the year than at the beginning of the year?
Did I love people more or less?
Did I become more like Jesus or less?
What journeys of growth did God lead me on this year?
Was I faithful with what was given to me, regardless of the outcome?
How would you answer these questions? I hope in answering these, they launch you into a better 2025.
You were made for goodness

What gets measured improves.
We just need to make sure we are measuring the right things.
Thanks for this powerful set kpis and happy New Year’s, Phil!
