I guess it all depends on how you view surrender. I can’t repurpose anything if I haven’t surrendered my will in that thing. Don’t get me wrong, I agree that to repurpose is more actionable than “Jesus take the wheel” I just think it’s more a both and than an either or. In my surrendered life I look for actionable ways to bring the kingdom through all areas of my life.
